Psylo's Size Guide

FIND OUT ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ON HOW TO FIND YOUR PERFECT PSYLO SIZE AND FIT IN THIS GUIDE. FIRST, THERE ARE 2 PRO TIPS WE MUST SHARE WITH YOU.

TIP #1: Materials & Fit

To help you better understand which Psylo size fits you best, here is broad information about the materials we use and their elasticity:

Cotton Lycra | Tencel Most products are tight fitting. However the material is stretchy, so you have a lot of flexibility to choose between sizes according to your taste – whether you like it tighter, or a bit loose.

CVC Slub Double Knit | Cotton French Terry | CVC Cotton Terry The fabric is stretchable but not elastic so it gives minimal flexibility in between sizes. It will never be a tight fit (Jacket) and we will use elastic/ adjustable straps in the waistbands for extra fitting.

Cotton Canvas | Cotton Twill Stretch | Cotton Twill 16s/20s | Cotton Linen There is little to no stretch in the fabric. The cut is more tailored, and the fit is more specific, with almost no flexibility in between sizes.

TIP #2: Our Size Range

The majority of our designs fit a little snuggly to flatter all average fit body types.

Sizes [ 1 – 4 ] are more specific for products that are meant to be tight fitting, and hugging. You will mainly see this in Tops, Dresses, and Leggings.

Sizes [ S/M - M/L ] fit more loosely, which allows for more flexibility. You will mainly see this in Skirts, Kaftans, or Vests.

Sizes [ 36 - 48 ] very specific, for products that are more tailored and/ or meant to be very tight fitting. Size OS means one-size-fits-all. This is used mainly in accessories or in items which are adjustable to size (like belts).

 

Please refer to the relevant 'Psylo Size Guide' below to help you assess which size suits you best. Make sure, especially when choosing a product with a very specific size, that you are measuring yourself correctly.

How to measure yourself

CHEST/ BUST:

Measure around the fullest part, place the tape under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back. Take care that the tape is slightly loose, with space for 2 fingers in between the tape and your body.


WAIST:

Measure around your natural waistline. Make sure the tape is flat across the back. Take care that the tape is slightly loose, with space for 2 fingers in between the tape and your body.


HIPS:

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Make sure the tape is flat across the backside. Take care that the tape is slightly loose with space for 2 fingers in between the tape and your body.


INSIDE ARM LENGTH:

Place the measuring tape deep under your armpit, just under the shoulder bone & follow it on the inside of your arm, down to your wrist.


BELT LINE:

Measure around your belt line - under your belly, about 7-9 cm above your hip line.


OUTER SEAM LEG LENGTH:

Measure from belt line to the ankle bone, on the outer side of your leg.

Every child is unique. Some kids are bigger or smaller than others. Some kids will grow faster, while others slower. That’s why we advise using the ‘Age’ section as a point of reference only, but choose the size according to ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’.

Size 1 length 115cm fits waist sizes 36 – 42
Size 2 length 125cm fits waist sizes 42 – 48
