The name EGOSYSTEMA is a reflection of this philosophy, derived from two Latin words:
- EGO: The intermediary between consciousness and the unconscious, shaping identity.
- SYSTEMA: A structured approach, an organised methodology.

Born in Siberia, Anastasia spent the first decade of her life immersed in its vast wilderness. Her diverse heritage—half Chinese, half Korean from her mother’s side and Finnish from her father’s—deeply influenced her artistic development. Her father, a skilled craftsman, often made toys and clothes for her, nurturing her creative spirit from an early age.
Through years of traveling, experiencing different cultures, and absorbing traditional art forms, Anastasia found a way to channel these global influences into her designs. EGOSYSTEMA’s clothing draws from the rich symbolism of ancient cultures, blending traditional patterns with contemporary sacred geometry to create wearable art with a futuristic touch.

Anastasia’s creative process is a deeply intuitive journey. Inspiration, she says, often comes unexpectedly, sparked by moments of hope, faith, and love. Translating these emotions into tangible designs takes time and dedication. She typically knits three to five samples before arriving at the perfect version of a piece, meticulously crafting each pattern and diagram herself.
Symbolism plays a crucial role in her work. While she does not subscribe to any specific religion, she deeply respects all spiritual traditions, believing in their power to inspire and unite. Her designs incorporate sacred symbols, gods’ faces, and ancient motifs, reimagining them with a modern twist to breathe new life into traditional artistry.
