Lets start off by saying, I bought these not only once, but twice because I liked them so much and I would recommend them to anyone. However, the pockets are a bit stranged, don't plan on keeping something you won't lose in them.

The fabric is indeed very soft and the shorts fit very good. The waistband is awesome concerning looks, but I'm very cautious about it since i mistook it for the pockets (which lie right below) more often than not, accidentally dropping stuff all over the place. Nevertheless my favorite pair of shorts for the summer!
