Here is her winning adventure: “My best travel adventure by far was back in 2012, when I joined Spark!Circus in Thailand. We spent two months there, at first on Koh Pangan and Koh Samui, where we did fire shows to raise funds for the social circus Projekt. Four weeks we spent in the north of Thailand near the border to Myanmar to give Circus Workshops in Refugee Camps, Schools and Orphanages, for the poorest of the poor, mostly refugee children from Myanmar. It was intense, but the team was so beyond awesome that some of us chose to spend some more time together, after the project had ended. We travelled around Thailand for two more weeks, to generally decompress, but also we held more fireshows together and trained together. It was such an amazing experience - heartbreaking and nevertheless easily the best thing I've ever done...”
