A Bali Love Story

We first met Valerie Vivier at our home - Bali, back in 2018. The result was a beautiful collaboration, where we dressed and styled Valerie's first Psylo outfit. A couple of years later, Valerie is still celebrating life on the magical 'Island of the Gods'. As you can see in the video below, she's now in-love and continue spreading the good vibes. Captured by the talented Andrey Pareto, both Valerie and her partner Ananda Dao are wearing Psylo's must-have styles.

Bali is a tropical island, packed with gorgeous nature and spirituality. It’s known for rich local traditions, as well as being a travellers' and digital nomads' hub. Dressing in the ‘Island of The Gods’ style calls for easy-going outfits. Looks that are stylish and smart, yet easy to put together and wear in the hot climate. Taking a minimalistic approach to create these looks for Valerie and Ananda Dao. Their Psylo outfits work well in whatever adventure or new experience the day (or night!) may bring.

Psylo Look for Her

Valerie Vivier wearing Psylo Fashion ethical streetwear photography by AndreyMiss Valerie wearing the head-turning Psylo's Way Rmx Mini Dress. This A-line mini dress is made from a double-knitted fabric. Making it soft and figure-hugging. The corset-style open-back detailing shows beautifully the back. While the sparkly straps are a ticket to the party. In other moments, when a cover is needed, the Karma Kaftan is the ultimate throw-on layer. With a big hoodie and geometrical design on the back, this comfortable extra layer is made of sustainable bamboo fabric. Making it soft and light. Adding a finishing touch to this look is the Afro Turban. This turban-style headband features a knot detail, and is embellished with an all-over screen-print design, inspired by African Arts. All together creating an easy-going, adventure-ready style.

Psylo Look for Him

Ananda Dao, a healer and martial arts enthusiast, is wearing the signature Psylo's Long Necka Pants. These flowy trousers are made with natural cotton dobby fabric, with a stamped 'pinstripe' texture. Hidden under the big fold-over waistband is an adjustable, all-around strap tie-closure. These comfy trousers even have 3 pockets, and their cut allows for plenty of space and free movement. On the beach or hot day, this pair looks good with or without a top. But when a light cover is needed, the Mask Sleeveless Hoodie works so well in completing this easy-going look. Made with a mixed fabric of sustainable bamboo and organic cotton, it's light and soft. Full of handmade details, including a 'tiger mask' tribal design applique on its front. When temperatures are lower and a thicker layer is needed, the Bogolan Hoodie Jumper has a similar soft feel. Adding the Wow-factor to this look is again the Karma Kaftan (as seen on Valerie, too!). Many Psylo clothing are ultimately gender-neutral, designed for sharing and free expression.

Dressing these beautiful souls in Psylo clothing has been such a pleasure. Hope you enjoy the fruits of this collaboration as much as we do. Feel free to share your feedback in comments!

Love, Psylo Team
