Boho-Chic Meets Gothic Style

Alekai Golden Tear designs sophisticated ready-to-wear art from his Goa studio. He’s one of the designers collaborating with Psylo, to bring you a wider range of great clothing and accessories, to dress you in your personal style. Infusing East and West, old and new - to create gorgeous boho-chic clothing made from silk bamboo and other “fun yummy” fabrics. These high-quality, natural and light fabrics are weaved using handloom and other hand-made local traditions. The fabrics then go through a process of hand block print, made with natural dyes.

Using local traditions and natural fabrics and dyes also helps Alekai in promoting the agenda of eco-friendly fashion. Proving by practice that we can do different, choose differently. For Alekai, the rich natural environment is not only an inspiration to his collections but also an aim. The result is a collection of modern tribal wear; comfortable and cozy kaftans and vests, beach, long dresses, and unisex tops. Combining chunky unique textiles with elegance and sophistication, Alekai’s designs are adorning wearers from city streets, to beaches, from festivals to holiday escapes.

Recently we had a very special restock from Alekai Golden Tear. As Alekai is creating them exclusively for the Psylo shop! You cannot find them anywhere else…. While elsewhere you might find Alekai designs embellished with tribal block prints, these exclusive styles are all made from a plain fabric. In a similar way to all Alekai’s creations, the fabric is made by using traditional handloom techniques. The result gives a slightly see-through fabric, which we like to call the Net styles.

These styles are made from a plain fabric, making them versatile to be styled how you like with minimum effort. They can be worn for your tribal-boho-chic meets gothic style. Or added to any outfit or look for your unique look. Plus, mostly are gender neutral, and all are made in flowy cuts. So are super easy fit to any shape or size.
